Food and drinks

Snacks and yummy eats for lunch (ca. 1 p.m.) and dinner (ca. 6 p.m.) are taken care of by several local collectives. There are vegan options. Bottled drinks are available around the clock at the bar. Water is – naturally – free of charge.

NUDA

The Kurdish cuisine from the Kurdish Women’s Council Nuda will pamper our taste buds. The Kurdish Women’s Council Nuda has existed in Freiburg since 2015 and is organized under the umbrella organization TJK-E, the Kurdish women’s movement in Europe. Nuda wants to give the fighting women of Kurdistan a voice within Europe. They will also offer an information stand on the situation of Kurdish comrades currently affected by repression or imprisoned.

Kochkollektiv Maulwürfe

Maulwürfe / The Mole stands for a collective of passionate local chefs who cook with mobile kitchens in/around Freiburg and beyond. We see ourselves as part of a resistant, emancipatory movement and support the infrastructure for political actions such as camps, demos and events. We are a self-organized hands-on kitchen in which everyone can and should get involved and do not want to take on a service role. Our aim is to create a space in which everyone can try things out; be it at the chopping table or at the large pot.

We cook exclusively vegan, possibly with organic, regional and seasonal produce. We want to give everyone a delicious and balanced meal and therefore cook on a donation basis. In other words: everyone pays as much as they can/want to. We donate excess money to political projects and campaigns and thus allow it to flow back into the movement.

We welcome interested cooks and are always open to questions.
