The first Tattoo Circus at KTS, Freiburg, will take place this October. It is a political and non-commercial event aimed at raising awareness of issues concerning incarceration, prison and repression as well as collecting funds to aid those who are in or threatened with imprisonment. Alongside the chance of getting tattooed by artists from Freiburg and beyond, there will be discussions, talks about critiques of prison and repression and workshops, as well as an exciting cultural side-program with music, concerts, shows and an art exhibition. Several collectives will cater the event with delicious food to nourish our bodies throughout our pretty packed schedule.
Unfortunately, sleeping places for those coming from out of town cannot be provided. There will be a self-organized sleeping place market instead. An awareness structure will be present; information regarding barriers and accessibility at the event location can be found here. Feel free to get in contact with us to let us know your needs, so we can do our best to accomodate them.
