writing letters to prisoners
workshop with Jenni & Thomas

How does it work, to write a first card, a first letter to an imprisoned person? The page is so blank, so many thoughts in one’s head! The workshop is intended to give initial impulses as to what we can, want to and are allowed to write prisoners –  because, considering state surveillance, it is also important to think about what justice officials reading along could make of the contents, without getting too much in our own heads about it at the same time. In dialogue with each other, we’ll develop ideas to be put in practice so that, ideally, letters and cards end up in the mailbox at the end of the workshop.

NUDA
info stand

The Kurdish cuisine from the Kurdish Women’s Council Nuda will pamper our taste buds. The Kurdish Women’s Council Nuda has existed in Freiburg since 2015 and is organized under the umbrella organization TJK-E, the Kurdish women’s movement in Europe. Nuda wants to give the fighting women of Kurdistan a voice within Europe. They will also offer an information stand on the situation of Kurdish comrades currently affected by repression or imprisoned.

Stick’n’poke tattoos
workshop

You’ve always wanted to start tattooing or just got the itch? After a short introduction on hygiene and this machine-less technique, it’s on and you can dare to riddle your own skin with holes, or that of a piece of fruit. No prior experience is necessary.
